BODYWORK
Our redesigned, slim and ergonomic bodywork allows unrestricted movement for riders who want to perform at their very best. And as we all know, hitting the deck from time to time happens in trial, which is why we've used a special blend of Polypropylene that's super flexible and returns to its original shape after impact, even if bent 180 degrees or more!
AIRBOX
There aren't many bikes that have an airbox with a such a clever design, but ours do! Not only does it house the top-quality Twin Air filter, but the overall structure also plays a vital role in allowing our trial bikes to be super slim. With easy access, filter changes are super easy with just one bolt securing our filters.
FACTORY GRAPHICS
Restyled specifically for the TXT GP models and red, red, red! What's really cool about our fresh new graphics is that they're applied into the slim bodywork during the production process, which make them super durable. No peeling, no scratching, just a long lasting, vibrant appearance for a super clean look at all times.
HANDLEBARS & GRIPS
Strong and lightweight tapered NEKEN handlebars are made from high-quality aluminum and fitted with Renthal grips for comfort and control. A unique bar pad design, specific to the TXT GP range, protects you from heavy impacts on the bars. Completing the controls and for a factory finish, the clutch and front brake master cylinder caps are anodized in our favorite color - red!
FUEL TANK
Redesigned for enhanced ergonomics while fitting seamlessly within the frame and bodywork, the compact 2.4-liter fuel tank is held in place with just one bolt, ensuring fast removal and quick re-installation.
FRAME
The TXT GP frame is all-new for 2023 and retains its well-known flex and strength qualities! Our engineers have taken the latest generation TXT GP trial frames to the next level, ensuring improved rider feedback. Tubular, 1.5mm 25CrMo4 chrome-moly steel is used simply because it's the best material for delivering exceptional trial frame performance. Each frame is created using advanced manufacturing techniques, with assembly handled by robots that laser weld all the connecting pieces together. Weighing just 6kg, the frame is finished with a robust GASGAS-red powder coating while a new, larger skid plate better protects the engine, lower frame rails, and linkage.
CNC MACHINED TRIPLE CLAMPS
There are some very special triple clamps fitted on our GP bikes. CNC-machined from aluminum specifically for the TXT GP models, they reduce a little weight without compromising strength or stability. They're finished off with black anodizing to match the GASGAS Factory Racing trial bikes!
TECH FORKS
Smooth and progressive. Exactly the front fork action you need when tackling the toughest sections! The 39mm, low-friction TECH forks are finished with a premium KASHIMA coating on the inner tubes to maximize sensitivity. They're also 7.5mm shorter for 2023, for improved agility. Inside the left leg is a progressive spring and preload adjuster, as well as an 'End Stroke' adjustment function to prevent harsh bottoming. Over on the right leg, compression and rebound can be fine-tuned for a personalized set-up. Both outer tubes are anodized in black for a cool finish, highlighting the premium quality of the TECH forks.
SHOCK ABSORBER
We fit a TECH shock to the rear of the TXT GP models simply because they're the best on the market and highly adjustable for a customized ride. Set the compression, rebound, and spring preload, and away you go! The shock offers 174mm of travel and is capable of soaking up the hardest hits with ease.
SWINGARM
Slim, super-solid, and super-low in weight. It's cast from a single piece of aluminum and manufactured with proven rigidity and optimal flex for soaking up the biggest of rear wheel hits with ease. A new, sandblasted finish offers impressive scratch resistance to maintain it's cool appearance.
MOTOR
Development never stops with the TXT GP 250 motor. Designed to be light, compact, and offer the best power delivery to suit riders of all abilities, our engineers strive to make the best 2-stroke trial motors on the planet. Already packing a serious punch, a new cast aluminum cylinder head improves combustion and contributes to a constant running temperature for guaranteed day-long fun!
CYLINDER HEAD
Our engineers are always looking at ways to get more performance from all of our motors. From their findings, the cylinder head on the TXT GP 250 has been revised for improved combustion and features cooling ducts to ensure constant running temperatures at all times.
CYLINDER & PISTON
To produce the most usable torque, the 79mm cylinder bore features specially designed intake and exhaust ports for best-in-class performance. Inside, the forged piston is finished with a special coating for maximum performance and extended durability. Connecting the cylinder to the frame is a low weight, aluminum bracket, which reduces vibration from the motor and plays a vital role in the stiffness of the overall chassis structure.
CARBURETOR
Giving our 2-stroke motors all the fuel they need for a wide spread of smooth, strong power is the Keihin PWK 28mm carburetor.
TRANSMISSION
The lightest gearbox of any trial bike on the market and another patented GASGAS part! The 4/6 system allows riders to select from six gears when there are only four gears on the internal transmission shaft. It's this kind of tech that just shows how advanced the TXT GP bikes are, especially as the gearbox is low in weight and the unique design allows for super compact crankcases.
CRANKSHAFT
Perfectly balanced to deliver optimized inertia, the TXT GP 250 crankshaft is precisely positioned within the crankcases to ensure riders can rely on instant power and enjoy a super agile ride. Key to the motor delivering great traction, it also helps give the bike its much-loved, agile handling. To increase durability, we use a closed main bearing made by SKF with the strong connecting rod that uses two needle bearings for durability.
CRANKCASE
Designed so that the internal parts and shafts within the motor are carefully positioned to boost the bike's overall handling characteristics, the gravity casting process used to make our crankcases ensures they are super lightweight and extremely tough. Ensuring an improved seal, we use a central locating pin and a new central seal. Also, the clutch cover includes the clutch master cylinder, further highlighting the overall compact nature of the motor.
EXHAUST SYSTEM
A redesigned front pipe and an all-new rear silencer maximizes the power and torque from our compact 2-stroke motors! Both components are low in weight for uncompromised handling yet high in strength for incredible durability. Our engineers also worked on a new style silencer endcap, which reduces the overall silencer length to prevent any risk of potential damage. What we didn't change is the well-known and loved easy-access design, which allows super quick and simple silencer packing changes, as and when needed.
CLUTCH
Release all the torque and power you need with just one finger thanks to our super light BRAKTEC hydraulic clutch! The reliable system is designed to ensure even wear for smooth operation and exceptional performance at all times. Consisting of three Kevlar friction plates, two steel plates, and a Belleville spring design, hours and hours of maintenance free riding is guaranteed.
KICKSTARTER
Redesigned to be stronger and more efficient, the new kickstarter fires the bike into the life easily with an assertive kick. Adding further durability, the new footpeg has a beefed up section where the kickstart meets it for improved longevity.
BRAKTEC BRAKES
High-performance BRAKTEC braking systems that are specifically designed and built for trial use ensure our bikes have more than enough stopping power. Giving riders a controlled action for complete confidence, a front monoblock 4-piston caliper with a 185mm NG waved disc handles things up front. The rear brake system is a little bit special. Not only is a specific, 150mm and FIM-regulated NG waved brake disc used, but the 2-piston BRAKTEC caliper features patented magnetic brake pads, which stay open when the wheel is removed. Pretty neat, right!
FOOT PEGS
To improve comfort on the bike, the footrests have been fully redesigned with an increased surface area closer to the frame. This unique design allows riders to grip the bike more efficiently, which considerably enhances control when compared to previous models. The same tried and tested special micro-casting process is retained for continued low weight and maximum grip.
FAN AND RADIATORS
The seriously clever integrated cooling system on our TXT GP trial bikes is further improved for 2023 with a redesigned fan that increases air flow and reduces sound. And with the radiator neatly tucked away between the new aluminum engine mounts, the whole system is well protected from crash damage for continued 2-stroke performance.
