As trial bikes go, nothing compares to the TXT GP 250. The perfect balance of usable 2-stroke torque and nimble handling, it guarantees day-long fun. Revving up to 10,500rpm, the 250cc motor is so easy to ride thanks to its strong but manageable power delivery. In its element on tough, technical terrain, the class-leading suspension, selectable engine maps, as well as a BRAKTEC clutch and BRAKTEC brakes, ensure non-stop action from the moment the bike is fired into life. Nail those sections with ease with the TXT GP 250.
BODYWORK
Slim, smooth, and ergonomically awesome! Just what you want bodywork to be really, letting you get into all kinda shapes while you're out there cleaning the gnarliest of sections. It's likely that you'll hit the deck from time to time which is why all of the bodywork is made from a special blend of Polypropylene. What's so special about it? It's super flexible, meaning it returns to its normal shape even if it's bent more than 180 degrees!
AIRBOX
There aren't many bikes that have an airbox with a such a clever design, but ours do! Not only does it house the top-quality Twin Air filter, but the overall structure also plays a vital role in allowing our trial bikes to be super slim. With easy access, filter changes are super easy with just one bolt securing our filters.
FACTORY GRAPHICS
What's really cool about our fresh new graphics is that they're inspired by what you'll see on the GASGAS Factory Racing bikes in TrialGP. But not only that, they're applied into the slim bodywork during the production process, which makes them super durable. No peeling, no scratching, just a long lasting, vibrant appearance for a super clean look.
HANDLEBARS & GRIPS
Strong and lightweight tapered NEKEN handlebars are made from high-quality aluminum and fitted with RENTHAL grips for comfort and control. A unique bar pad design, specific to the TXT GP range, protects you from heavy impacts on the bars. Completing the controls and for a factory finish, the clutch and front brake master cylinder caps are anodized in our favorite color - red!
FRAME
The TXT GP frame retains its well-known flex and strength qualities! Our engineers have taken the latest generation TXT GP trial frames to the next level, ensuring improved rider feedback. Tubular, 1.5mm 25CrMo4 chrome-moly steel is used simply because it's the best material for delivering optimal stiffness combined with low weight. Each frame is created using advanced manufacturing techniques, with assembly handled by robots that laser weld all the connecting pieces together. Weighing just 6kg, the frame is finished with a robust GASGAS-red powder coating while a large skid plate protects the engine, lower frame rails, and linkage.
CNC MACHINED TRIPLE CLAMPS
There are some very special triple clamps fitted on our GP bikes. CNC-machined from aluminum specifically for the TXT GP models, they reduce a little weight without compromising strength or stability. They're finished off with black anodizing to match the GASGAS Factory Racing trial bikes!
TECH FORKS
Smooth and progressive. Exactly the type of feel you need from your forks when tackling the toughest sections! The stanchions on the 39mm, low-friction TECH forks are finished with a premium KASHIMA coating to maximize sensitivity, and the gold finish looks so, so good. Technically speaking, these TECH forks are made with a split design. This means that inside the left leg is a progressive spring while on the outside is a preload adjuster on the top, and an 'End Stroke' adjuster at the bottom to prevent harsh bottoming. Over on the right leg, compression and rebound can be fine-tuned for a personalized set-up. Both outer tubes are anodized in black for a cool finish that highlights the premium quality of the TECH forks.
SHOCK ABSORBER
Our TXT GP models are fitted with a high-end shock made by the renowned manufacturer, TECH. Featuring a large reservoir that provides better heat stability for a more consistent performance, even through the toughest of sections, it also offers full adjustability. In addition to setting the spring pre-load, you can fine tune the compression and rebound to suit your style and create a personalized set-up.
MOTOR
Development never stops with the TXT GP 250 motor. Designed to be light, compact, and offer the best power delivery to suit riders of all abilities, our engineers strive to make the best 2-stroke trial motors on the planet. Already packing a serious punch, the cast aluminum cylinder head improves combustion and contributes to a constant running temperature for guaranteed day-long fun!
CYLINDER HEAD
It's a simple looking part but the new die-cast aluminum cylinder head on the TXT GP 250 is super important. Firstly, you can now fine tune the power as different inserts are available as a Technical Accessory. And secondly, the flow of the coolant is improved to make sure the motor runs at the perfect temperature at all times.
CYLINDER & PISTON
To produce the most usable torque, the 79mm cylinder bore features specially designed intake and exhaust ports for best-in-class performance. Inside, the forged piston is finished with a special coating for maximum performance and extended durability. Connecting the cylinder to the frame is a low weight, aluminum bracket, which reduces vibration from the motor and plays a vital role in the stiffness of the overall chassis structure.
CARBURETOR
Giving our 2-stroke motors all the fuel they need for a wide spread of smooth, strong power is the Keihin PWK 28mm carburetor.
KICKSTARTER
A strong and reliable kickstarter is designed for one thing only - to make sure starting the bike is quick and easy. Okay, that was two things...
BRAKTEC BRAKES
High-performance BRAKTEC braking systems that are specifically designed and built for trial use ensure our bikes have more than enough stopping power. Giving riders a controlled action for complete confidence, a front monoblock 4-piston caliper with a 185 mm NG waved disc handles things up front. The rear brake system is a little bit special. Not only is a specific, 150 mm and FIM-regulated NG waved brake disc used, but the 2-piston BRAKTEC caliper features patented magnetic brake pads, which stay open when the wheel is removed. Pretty neat, right!
FOOT PEGS
To improve comfort on the bike, the footrests have been fully redesigned with an increased surface area closer to the frame. This unique design allows riders to grip the bike more efficiently, which considerably enhances control when compared to previous models. The same tried and tested special micro-casting process is retained for continued low weight and maximum grip.
FAN AND RADIATORS
The aluminum inverted U-flow radiator has a cooling area of 20.4 cm2 and a refrigerant volume of 470,2 cm3, with a mini valve on top of the radiator that opens on 1,2 bars (between 1 to 1,5 bars). The crucial component is a electrical fan with a diameter of 115 mm and optimized blades. Compared to the predecessor it features a reduced noise level and increased air flow.
