An exciting addition to the Husqvarna Mobility line-up, the electric-powered Pioneer street legal machine is an extremely versatile, state-of-the-art recreational motorcycle with a WMTC range of 130 kilometers. A proven Li-Ion battery and a 5 kWh motor ensure ample riding time with the power delivery customisable thanks to a choice of three ride modes, while three different recuperation settings can help extend the range. Built around an advanced chassis that was engineered for the Pioneer, quality components including WP suspension, Braktec brakes, and a multifunctional display unit complete the build of this exciting new model.

Bodywork
With a flat seat profile and smooth bodywork, riding the new Pioneer is easy and enjoyable. Featuring mudguards and an offroad-inspired headlight, the Pioneer subtly replicates the look of Husqvarna's enduro machines and is complete with distinctive graphics for a unique appearance.
Wheels & tyres
Black-anodised aluminium rims are laced to the hubs using lightweight and strong spokes. For maximum grip on a wide variety of surfaces, the wheels are fitted with medium compound Michelin Enduro tyres with a 90/90-21 on the front and a 140/80-18 on the rear.
Chassis
A perfectly balanced chassis was developed specifically for the new Pioneer machine and features a die-cast aluminium swingarm to aid handling and minimise weight. Smooth bodywork and a flat seat profile combine to create modern and unrestrictive ergonomics for assured comfort and enjoyment on every ride.
Frame
The Pioneer frame is expertly crafted to be stable at speed while also playing a vital role in ensuring excellent cornering agility. Engineered specifically for the battery and electric motor, the frame houses these components in the most effective way. This creates a lightweight handling feel with the slim design enhancing ergonomics for an unrestricted riding experience. The subframe is made from aluminium and glass-fibre reinforced nylon for exceptional strength at the lowest possible weight.
Suspension
With motocross-inspired settings and 250 mm of travel, the 43 mm WP air forks offer exceptional damping across rough terrain. To ensure the Pioneer machine handles perfectly, the fully adjustable WP XPLOR PDS shock offers 250 mm of travel and is linked directly to the swingarm for maximum stability.
Electric motor
Producing a peak power output of 19 kW and 37 Nm of torque, the modern electric motor offers performance and an efficient energy consumption for extended riding times. With a permanent drive motor, this eliminates the need for a clutch or gearbox and ensures a simplified riding experience that beginners through to advanced riders will benefit from. The electric motor produces next to no noise, which means the Pioneer can be ridden in areas with sound restrictions.
Battery
The Li-Ion battery has been rigorously tested in challenging conditions to prove its durability and performance. One benefit to owning a Pioneer is that the battery can be removed with tools within a matter of minutes, which means a fully charged spare can be fitted quickly and easily for continued riding.
Safety
For assured safety, the Pioneer is equipped with a rollover sensor (ROS) and if the machine is laid over, intentionally or unintentionally, power to the rear wheel is immediately disengaged.
Brakes
With no clutch on the Pioneer, the rear brake is operated by the rider's left hand, ensuring a heightened level of control. Exceptional stopping power comes from the hydraulic Braktec brake systems, floating calipers, and the 260 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc, which combine to provide assured braking performance.
Charging
A full recharge using the included 660W charger on a standard household electric supply will take just under eight hours to complete and provides a enduro riding time of up to three hours and the 660W charger can be easily stored under the seat. For charges up to 80%, this takes approximately four and a half hours.
Multi-function display
An LCD dashboard clearly displays essential information at a glance with riders able to choose what is shown at any one time. The options available are - State of Charge, Ride Mode and Regen Map, Clock, Trip, Accumulated Run Time, and the Odometer. These can be toggled through and selected by pressing one of the two buttons on the dashboard.
Switch Cube
The Pioneer features three ride modes - 1, 2, and 3 - which can be toggled between and engaged depending on the riding situation using the handlebar-mounted Switch Cube. To highlight the advanced technology found on the Pioneer, there are two recuperation modes, mid and high, which transfer energy back into the battery based on the braking force applied. Alternatively, there is an 'off' setting should regeneration of power not be required. Housed inside the Switch Cube is a button marked TC that activates Traction Control for improved grip when riding in slippery conditions.
